I think they both made mistakes, but I think, in the end, they ended up on better terms than the ones they started with. When it started it was chaotic and full of turmoil, with moments of happiness and joy, and continued like that for a while. I think they were both confused — not sexually, though that’s an element. More confused about what they were becoming, or what they should become. I think in the end what they realised that is, if you get it right, there’s something gloriously simple and liberating about love.
