Jake Walden is a California based singer/songerwriter. He was born and raised the wine country of northern california, wherethey would sing Joni Mitchell songs in kindergarten. Five years ago due to a broken heart, Jake took off his shoes, opened the window and sat down to his piano and discovered a voice and some songs that would help make sense of it all. He took the next two years connecting with the piano and writing the songs that would become his debut album, Alive and Screaming. Jake Walden is a dreamer whose mother is proud of him. He believes that hope is a greater gift in life than love – and his message of hope resounds in his music. And Jake also said in a interview with AfterElton that he is openly gay as a person.
